A SUCCESSFUL HYDROCARBON SURVEY RESULT  IN EAST TEXAS

HYDROCARBON SURVEYS WERE DONE TO DETERMINE IF THERE WERE OIL RESERVOIRS UNDER THE PROPERTY.

THE SURVEY INDICATED THAT THERE ARE THREE RESERVOIR DEPTHS THAT SHOULD BE OIL PRODUCTIVE.

MUD LOG OF DRILLED WELL.

THE DRILLED WELL CONFIRMED THE SURVEY DATA BY PUTTING OIL ON THE PITS FROM THE NACATOCH SAND, THE PECAN GAP SANDY LIME FORMATION AND THE WOODBINE SAND FORMATION.

THE LEASE SURVEY IS A 50 YEAR OLD PRODUCED LEASE FROM THE NACATOCH FORMATION. EVEN SO THE HYDROCARBON SURVEY INDICATED PRODUCTIVE RESERVOIR QUALITY AT THE NACATOCH SAND DEPTH RANGE.

THE ELECTROMAGNETIC SURVEY ALSO INDICATED OIL RESERVOIRS. 

THE PROBABLE HISTORY IS THAT THE NACATOCH WAS PRODUCED FROM THE TOP LENSE OF A LAMINATED RESERVOIR. DRILLING PROVED THE FORMATION TO BE PRESSURED UP BY PUTTING OIL IN THE PITS.

THE PECAN GAP FORMATION ALSO PUT OIL IN THE PITS AT AN GOOD RATE OF FLOW. THIS FORMATION IS A LAMINATED LIME/LIMEY SAND FORMATION.

IT PUT OIL IN THE PITS COMPLETELY THROUGH THE FORMATION.

THE WOODBINE FLOWED OIL TO THE PITS BUT AT A LESSOR RATE THAN THE NACATOCH AND PECAN GAP. THE WOODBINE SAND HAS CLAY IN IT AND CAN BE DAMAGED DURING DRILLING IF NOT PROTECTED. THE FORMATION WAS NOT PROTECTED DURING DRILLING SO THE FLOW INTO THE PITS WAS MUCH LESS THAN THE NACATOCH SAND AND THE PECAN GAP.

THIS SURVEY INDICATES POSSIBLE OIL RESERVOIR IN PLACE.

THIS IS A GAS PROBE ANALYSIS OF THE GAS FOUND IN A DEEP PROBE SURVEY TAKEN IN OKLAHOMA.
